Eligibility: The Undergraduate Scholarship is open to students who are graduating high school in the spring of 2024 with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and have been accepted to a college, university, technical or trade school. Students who are minors may only submit an application with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The Graduate Scholarship is open to students who have a GPA of 3.2 or above from an accredited college or university who are pursuing a Masters of Library Science degree. Only one award is permitted per household. Employees of LCFCU, volunteers, and/or any affiliated companies, advertising, and promotion agencies, and the immediate family and household members of each, are not eligible. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Void where prohibited.
To Enter: In order to enter the Scholarship, eligible students must complete the online application located at https://www.lcfcu.org/resources/resources-2/scholarship/ and provide the necessary information including proof of eligibility, school activities, community activities, employment experience, reference letters, and answering essay questions regarding what makes a good librarian, describing when the student demonstrated leadership skills, faced challenges, would promote diversity and inclusion, or would promote access to services.
